Dental Hygiene Faculty FT Salary Position Summary: The responsibilities of the successful candidate for the Dental Hygiene Faculty include didactic, laboratory, and clinical teaching. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Didactic course preparation, presentation, development, course management, grading, and evaluation - Participate in and support clinic or pre-clinic assignments - Pursue excellence in teaching using a variety of techniques of computers, multimedia, and in lectures/laboratories - Stay current with learning resources, textbooks, dental hygiene clinical equipment/supplies, technology, and software required by the dental hygiene program - Student mentoring, counseling, and advisement for success and retention - Maintain accurate and updated student records - Maintain regular office hours to assist students and support the dental hygiene program - Support students with attendance at orientations, program activities, and professional conventions - Write letters of recommendation, employment, and continuing education to support the students - Participate in faculty orientation and faculty development programs - Attend and support faculty/department meetings - Accept a...
