Registered Nurse, Oncology Clinic Per Diem

Job description

Regions is seeking an experienced RN to work in a per diem position in our Infusion Clinic. In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, provides professional nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation in accordance with Oncology Nursing Society and institutional standards of care. This position functions in a care coordination role, addressing patient needs and communicating with physicians, inpatient, homecare, and hospice staff as appropriate. Demonstrates a caring, competent manner to instill patient confidence and contribute to an environment that is centered on the needs of patients and their families. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Clinic hours 0800-1700 Mon-Fri Required Qualifications: Completion of an associate degree in nursing with one year of RN experience OR completion of a bachelor’s degree in nursing OR Master’s Degree in nursing. One year hospital nursing or equivalent experience required.
