Job description

Position Summary: This position is responsible for moving equipment, parts, machinery, etc. at our vast, 63-acre facility. Detailed Description: - Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition. - Use hand tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, or precision instruments, as well as power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, or jacks and hoists. - Adjust brakes and reassemble equipment. - Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices. - Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. - Attendance is an essential function of the job. - Ability and willingness to engage in highly energetic pursuits on the waterfront. - Maintain a commitment to and promote the Quality an...
