Description SUMMARY: The Human Resources team seeks a dynamic and innovative Director of Employee Relations and Development. The role reports to the Vice President and CHRO of Human Resources and provides leadership to the talent management team, as well as learning and development, coaching, performance assessment, workforce retention, and engagement, in consultation with members of the CalArts Community. Qualifications: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide the vision and strategy supporting a welcoming and inclusive culture by applying customized sourcing and recruiting strategies to searches and creating a culture of continuous professional development, learning, and enrichment opportunities that enhance the evolving workplace. Provide guidance and consultation to staff on workplace and labor relations and serve as an architect and steward in cultivating positive workplace relationships to enhance retention and increase employee engagement.
