Position Title: Athletic Director - High School Division: Leadership Services and High School Reports To: Principal: FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Schedule: Teacher; $4,500 supplement: Work Days: 210: The Athletic Director will not coach; they will only serve in the role of Athletic Director. Qualifications: - Assist Principal in the interviewing and selection of coaches for the various sports within the school and provide corrective guidance to coaches as needed. - Ensure that all coaches are CPR/AED, sudden cardiac arrest, and concussion certified. - Create an evaluation process for school coaching staff. - Conduct coaches' meetings regularly and attend athletic booster club meetings and monthly Athletic Director meetings. - Address and respond to parent concerns as they arise throughout the school year. - Ensure that supplements are processed on time for all coaches, including community coaches. - Ensure that all coaches complete required on-line rules clinics and any other required courses for coaches. - Inspect facilities on a consistent basis and contact Facilities & Maintenance Department to coordinate a schedule for cutting athletic fields. - Oversee maintenance of scoreboard...
