Quality Engineer Department: Quality: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Liberty, SC: Reporting To: Quality Manager: Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 / year Description: The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring consistent application of quality techniques, providing statistical information for quality improvement, and investigating, analyzing, and resolving quality problems. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and record problems relating to the product lines, initiate actions to prevent the recurrence of any nonconformities relating to products and processes. - Assist in the evaluation and qualification of new product designs and new supplier materials via a new product development process. - Monitor and support site quality objectives by maintaining metrics, and report these on a monthly basis. - Lead performance improvement projects to increase facility capability to consistently meet Internal and customer requirements. - Participate in documentation review, approval, revision, or creation as necessary to ensure processes are properly documented. - Participate in the creation of First Article Inspection (FAI) of new product designs to ensure all requirements are met. - In...
