ProAmpac, situated in Manistique, MI, operates as a 24/7 manufacturing facility specializing in 100% recycled kraft paper rolls. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Must be able to become forklift certified. · Clean sewers grates. · Keep beater room clean. · Clean all bathrooms, locker rooms, restock paper, soap, and mop floor daily. · Keep the basement storage areas clean from the core room to the boiler room. · Empty garbage’s on dry and wet end. · Clean as you go philosophies ensuring neat and clean work areas. · Adhere to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance. INTERDEPARTMENTAL RELATIONSHIPS: · Requires adaptability/flexibility to work with all departments of the plant to accomplish mill goals. COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
