This role ensures that nursing practices are compliant with applicable state and federal regulations, enhances staff competence through education, and supports best practices in health care delivery to optimize the health, dignity, and quality of life of the people we serve. Monitor and evaluate the delivery of nursing and health-related services within InCommunity’s IDD programs to ensure compliance with care plans, medication administration, treatment protocols, and safety standards. Conduct nursing assessments, audits, and reviews (medical charts, medication records, incident reports) to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks. Collaborate with attending physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other clinical professionals to ensure coordinated care.
