Assistant Arborist Reference number: 11146: Closing date: 11:00pm, Friday 05 June 2026 - Full-time permanent position - Salary commencing at $72,088.20 per annum, plus 12% superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience. - Band 3. The Opportunity: The Trees and Urban Forest Team is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Assistant Arborist to join the City Presentation Department. In this hands-on outdoor role, you will support the delivery of reactive and programmed tree maintenance works across various Moonee Valley streets and parks, contributing to the health, safety and presentation of the city’s urban forest. Working under the direction of the Tree Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist with tree pruning, removals and general arboricultural activities while ensuring safe work practices and high standards of customer service.
