Owner’s Project Management firm seeks Construction Project/Quality Managers for projects in the Washington, DC area. Candidates must have at least ten years’ experience providing construction project management or quality management services. Candidates must have experience: Candidates will receive strong preference if they have experience working on one or more projects for the US General Services Administration. - As a project manager or construction quality manager on at least one project with a value of $25 million or more, - Managing office fit-out projects in leased facilities on behalf of tenants, - Monitoring construction work - Preparing daily reports - Maintaining official construction site records, - Administering construction contracts including preparing correspondence on behalf of the client, - Reviewing Contractor’s monthly payment requests and recommending payment or rejection of the request and preparing required documentation - Determining merit and value for change order proposals, supporting negotiations, and preparing change order documentation - Experience with reviewing submittals, shop drawings, requests for information (RFIs). - Using electronic project man...
