Job description

Mechanics repair and maintenance the construction equipment, specifically heavy duty Milling and Paving machines. QUALIFICATIONS: - Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. - Follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. - Follow direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite. - Complies with state vehicle requirements by inspecting, testing, and completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, replacing filters etc. - Maintains vehicle/equipment functional condition by listening to operator complaints, conducting inspections, repairing major failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions, replacing parts and components. - Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired heavy equipment and trucks to verify conformance to specifications. - Complete proper paperwork - Order and obtain parts from parts vendors - Maintain clean work area and shop. - Maintain neat and orderly toolbox, both personal and the company. - Duties includ...
