CT Scan Technologist - Part Time POSITION SUMMARY: Demonstrate proficiency in the performance of Cat Scan Imaging Exams. Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of pediatric immobilization devices adhering to safety precautions. Must produce computerized tomographic scanner Radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed according to established policies and procedures. Must prepare or enter written documentation as required by the Department, such as informed patient consent, patient chart documentation, and other related duties. Must observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary. Check equipment, supplies, and accessories on a regular basis. Asses the physical needs of the adult and geriatric patients. Demonstrate the ability to recognize and ally patients' fears and apprehensions about exams. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Complete requested examinations in a timely manner, observing radiation safety standards. Address the special needs of each age group served and assist in making reasonable accommodations for the hearing impaired, physically challenged or any other patients who may enter the Hospital.
