Overview Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a Senior Health Physicist (I, II or III) Radiological Engineer to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS). The Senior Health Physicist (I, II, III) Radiological Engineer provides technical guidance in support of company radiological designs and modifications. Calculates, analyzes, establishes, and incorporates proper radiological protection controls to prevent or minimize adverse effects to onsite personnel, the surrounding public, and the environment. Responsibilities: Responsibilities of a Senior Health Physicist I (Grade 67): - Applies radiological engineering and health physics principles learned through formal education and comprehensive work experience for a moderate to large facility/project. - Provides comprehensive technical, operational, and regulatory guidance on the company’s Radiological Protection issues under broad supervision. - Performs standard to complex assessments, calculations, and/or monitoring to determine the proper radiological controls and shielding required to meet or exceed company/regulatory standards, while considering economic impacts. - Prepares technical docume...
