Groundskeeper (afternoon & evening shift)

Job description

Overview: Quinnipiac University invites applications for the position of Groundskeeper. We’re looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to help keep our grounds safe, clean, and welcoming year-round. In this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks—from planting and pruning to operating power equipment and assisting with snow removal. You’ll also perform minor repairs and support general custodial duties. If you’re reliable, skilled with tools and machinery, and ready to make a visible impact every day, we’d love to hear from you! Please note this is a union position with a starting hourly rate of $33.69, effective 7/1/26 the rate will increase to $34.70. In addition to the base pay set forth above, a shift differential of $1.00 per hour will be paid for all hours worked in shifts beginning at or after 3:00pm on a weekday or on Saturday or Sunday. The hours for this position are Wednesday through Sunday, 12:30pm to 9:00pm on the Mount Carmel campus.
