Job Summary: This position is responsible for LPN nursing services in a physician office practice to control patient flow for physician, obtain and document patient vitals, perform EKG strips, and other nursing duties as assigned. Medical Assistant: The Medical Assistant controls patient flow for providers, obtains and documents patient vitals, and performs other patient care and clerical duties. The incumbent in this position will support the mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives of Mary Washington Healthcare and must demonstrate a commitment to quality service to patients, physicians, the public and co-workers. LPN Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provides general nursing care to patients to include obtaining and documenting patient vitals (height, weight, BP). Rooms patients.
