IT Business Continuity Manager

Job description

This position requires extensive collaboration and coordination across teams to successfully develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, uphold related standards, and plan and execute disaster recovery (DR) exercises. Serve as a liaison and support the implementation of the Operational Resilience Risk Oversight plan across all areas of BHE IT, ensuring standardization of IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs). Assist in creating Business Impact Analysis (BIA) plan templates and related documentation. Coordinate BIA activities across affiliates, update Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), and Tier classifications. Maintain documentation and review team procedures to confirm backup and recovery requirements for each Tier. Identify gaps across affiliates and represent IT to drive consistency and standardization. Lead the development of individual continuity and disaster recovery plans using standardized templates.
