Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Job Title: Scheduling Verification Coordinator Employment Type: Full-time: Shift: Evening: Location: Germantown, MD Position Purpose: - The Scheduling Verification Coordinator is responsible for administrative activities related to registration, surgical scheduling and ensuring insurance authorization and correct designation for patients receiving elective surgical procedures at Holy Cross Hospital Health. As a “Scheduling Verification Coordinator” you will: - Utilizes current information and resources to perform registration and surgical scheduling duties - Ensures insurance authorization and correct designation for patients receiving elective surgical procedures - Communicates with Supervisor regarding unusual situations or patient status. Preferred: - High School diploma or equivalent required. - Two years of experience in a hospital and/or other health care setting, preferably in registration, scheduling or insurance verification.
