Technical Due Diligence Expert – Biogas International Role Overview: The Technical Due Diligence Expert – Biogas International is responsible for performing comprehensive technical assessments of biogas and biomethane projects, with a strong focus on agricultural feedstock-based plants across European markets. The role supports investment decisions, acquisitions, and project development by providing robust technical, operational, and risk analyses throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Technical Due Diligence & Project Assessment Conduct technical due diligence for acquisitions, joint ventures, and greenfield biogas and biomethane projects. Review and validate process design, plant layouts, mass and energy balances, and process flow diagrams. Assess anaerobic digestion technologies, feedstock handling systems, biogas upgrading technologies, digestate treatment, and grid injection solutions. Identify technical risks, mitigation measures, and value-creation opportunities. Engineering & Plant Optimization: Evaluate feedstock availability, composition, and long-term supply robustness.
