Job Details: Starting Pay $18.40/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium Shift D days/hours: Wednesday night/Thursday morning 1 am to 7 am and Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights 7 pm to 7 am Functions: Ÿ To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture Ÿ Receive training as required Ÿ Perform various positions as required/assigned Description: The floor operator – feather side – is responsible for visually inspecting all floor equipment and making adjustments when needed. This position is responsible for monitoring and operating all the equipment in the feather room. This equipment will include front-end loader, feather drag chain conveyor, metal detector, screens, numerous product conveyors, dryer and batch hydrolyzers (if applicable). Tasks: Applicants will be considered for any general production opening. These openings require standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
