Job Summary: Ice Miller, LLP is seeking an experienced HUD loan and real estate transaction paralegal to join our team. The paralegal must have subject matter experience as further explained below, and must be capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment with time-sensitive materials, and maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position. It is anticipated that HUD loan work will be the majority of what this paralegal works on, with traditional real estate transaction management duties comprising the remaining workload. ***Salary in the range of $70,000 - $100,000 dependent on location and experience level*** Essential Job Duties: Hud Loan Duties (65%-80%): ▪Draft borrower and operator side deliverables for HUD 232 loans, including organizational documents, lease memoranda, addenda and estoppels, and management agreement addenda ▪Communicate directly with client and lender’s counsel to coordinate delivery of all information required for HUD 232 application submissions ▪Coordinate closing process for HUD 232 loans with client, title company, and lender Transaction Management Duties (20%-35%): ▪Review real estate due diligence for finance, acquisitio...
