This shift is from 7p-7a or 7am to 7pm Perimeter Behavioral of West Memphis Arkansas has an immediate opening for a Mental Health Technician/Youth Care Worker! Our Mental Health Technician responsibilities include some of the following: Care for our patients daily by assessing behavior, escorting them, and interacting with them continuously throughout the shift. Conduct direct observation rounds during assigned shift and document patient’s behavior. · Model and teach appropriate life skills to the patients. · Orient the patients to the unit and assist them with daily living skills. · Provide a safe, clean and therapeutic environment. - Provide physical restraint or intervention if appropriate. Training will be provided. Qualifications for the Mental Health Technician should include the following: Education : High School Degree or equivalent is required.
