Part Time (10 Hours/biweekly) Shift: Day/Evenings: General Summary: Following the rules and regulations of the Joint Review Commission and under the direction of a Certified Radiographer, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level, requiring and maintaining indirect supervision. Performs a variety of radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to use the proper methods and technical skills to achieve quality examinations. Assumes responsibility for the radiographic procedures within the designated work area. Essential Functions: - Transfers and positions patients. Provides immobilization devices as needed. - Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis. Selects and operates equipment in order to produce quality radiographic images. Common Expectations: - Provides radiation protection to patients and to self in accordance with current radiation safety standards. - Practices sterile technique when necessary. Maintains a sanitary environment. Follows the principles of universal precautions for potentially infectious body substances. - Maintains the safety of patients and visitors at all times. - Uses all computer systems in the man...
