JOB SUMMARY: Directs the activities of the Quality Assurance group in determining and monitoring various quality indicators throughout the facility, developing trend analysis. Provides input to Top Management regarding key performance indicators of the Facility. Works with department heads to develop and track Continuous Improvement efforts. Responsible for company quality system documents; FAA Repair Station & PMA, EASA Production Organization Approval and ISO/AS 9100 certification. Manage Quality Methods specialists for operation of Quality systems and improvements. Manage the Certification Office and administrative Staff to ensure that aircraft are delivered in an FAA FAR or EASA IR/JAR compliant condition. Manages the efforts of the Certification/Airworthiness Department. Plans, organizes and directs the work of the Manager of Certification and other functional staff of the Certification group.
