Description Position Summary: The Physical Security Engineer will work closely with the Senior Physical Security Engineers, Foremen, Team Leads and other members of the Physical Security and Cabling teams to install and implement door access, video surveillance, intercoms, etc. This position will work to build a customer-focused relationship with clients, to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements to arrive at the best solution. This position will also be expected to maintain a high standard of quality and always provide a positive customer experience. Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions: - Pulling and installing new Cat 5E/ Cat 6 cable. - Pulling and installing new composite cable for door access - Climbing up and down ladders at varies heights. - Installing cable pathways and raceways. - Be able to use basic hand tools and power tools. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including utilizing proper PPE, safe use of tools and machinery, and always adhering to safety standards and regulations. - Install proper cable sleeves and chases. - Take direction from Lead Technician. - Learn basics between different types of cabling. - Te...
