Job Description Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Traffic Analysis and Planning candidate to join our Traffic Analysis and Planning Group located in our Raleigh, NC office location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: - Complete operational analysis, corridor studies, traffic studies, innovative intersection implementation, traffic calming, and safety analysis; - Bicycle/pedestrian/multi-modal feasibility, analysis, design, and implementation; - Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilizes computers in order to solve problems; - Perform research and writes objective summary reports which are used in the completion of the project work; - Assist in the preparation of engineering planning schedules and cost estimates - Complete field observation, inspection, and data collection dutie - Communicate with client staff and internal design team; and - Communicate results/recommendations to the general public.
