Job Description: The Production Planner oversees end‑to‑end materials management, translating demand forecasts into executable plans, validating material availability, and driving daily communication with operations. As the planning subject‑matter expert, they ensure kit completion for production and are a key contributor to capacity planning. > KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Translate demand (forecast, orders, backlog) into finite production schedules and work orders. - Run MRP/ERP to ensure material availability; place and expedite purchase/transfer orders to meet lead times. - Balance line/cell capacity; sequence jobs to minimize changeovers and meet due dates. - Maintain and update master data (BOMs, routings, lead times, lot sizes) in ERP; support ECR/ECO changes. - Track WIP and inventory; resolve shortages, constraints, and quality holds with cross‑functional teams. - Coordinate NPI ramp and phase‑in/phase‑out with Engineering, Quali...
