Contract Works Officer– Planned maintenance Permanent: Grade C- £35,412 - £44,075: Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: We’re looking for an experienced Building Surveyor / Contract Works Officer to join our Asset Management and Planned Maintenance teams. This is a key role in delivering Birmingham City Council’s Capital Investment Programme — improving and investing in more than 57,000 council homes across the city. As part of our Planned Maintenance Team, you’ll work alongside skilled and supportive colleagues who are committed to raising housing standards and ensuring safe, high‑quality homes for our residents. Your expertise will help drive forward major investment programmes and influence how we care for one of the largest housing portfolios in the country.
