Associate Service Engineer

Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Handles basic troubleshooting, equipment servicing, and preventive maintenance. ● Follows SOPs and performs task-based assignments. ● Expected to troubleshoot issues that are limited in complexity. ● Begin to understand "3 pillars" of laboratory automation troubleshooting (hardware, software, and assay). ● Document service tickets completely and with appropriate detail. Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP). ● Collaborate with Equipment Technicians to maintain service tools and spare parts and ensure workspace organization. ● Adhere to lab safety protocols and regulatory requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: ● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field. ● 0–2 years of experience in Service Engineering or regulated laboratory settings. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools. ● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols meticulously. ● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
