Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a client and family centred care model, and in accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, works in a team based environment and plays a significant role in ensuring that the overall surgical booking and slating requirements are met. Applies critical thinking and uses current knowledge of procedure protocols and computerized systems to schedule and assign the daily procedural bookings. Duties include identifying available booking options, preparing and editing preliminary Operating Room slate, completing and distributing final slate to designated areas, as well as compiling, maintaining and distributing designated operative statistical information and surgical waitlists, ordering office supplies, typing and filing correspondence. Also acts to support the delivery of patient care and to ensure patients and/or their family have a positive experience with the designated services.
