Job Description Lead Maintenance Mechanic - Marshall, MN Job Summary Perform all related duties to the Maintenance Mechanic position such as build, maintain, and repair production equipment for all departments along with assisting in the coordination and leadership of the Maintenance team. Essential Job Functions: - Continue to perform all duties of a Maintenance Mechanic with a high level of quality work. - Assist in the coordination for the work of the Maintenance team. - Communicate with supervisors on progress of ongoing projects. - Develop a list of tools, equipment and resources needed for projects. - Assists with the installation of new equipment as required. - Complete follow-up inspections of projects, making sure that the area was left clean and all parts and tools were put in their proper place. - Provide and participate in Daily Safety Toolbox Talks and lead pre-job stretches - Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor, Superintendent and Planner to coordinate tasks and projects for the team along with ensuring all materials for projects are ordered as needed. - Assist in the development and training for maintenance employees and maintenance-related training for the enti...
