Technical Shared Services (TSS) - Electrical Systems & Field Support This position will be located at Plant Scherer, Juliette, GA JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this job is to provide technical services in the electrical discipline to fossil and hydroelectric generating facilities within the Southern Company. These services include but are not limited to problem resolution, routine testing, design review, checkout and startup of new equipment, technical consulting, and unplanned/emergency callouts (afterhours). ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS (LOCATION & TRAVEL): - This position will be under TSS within the Technical Services – Electrical Systems & Field Support department. - This position will be based at Plant Scherer and will support multiple generation site locations to include: Scherer, Dahlberg, Central Ga Hydro, Robins CT - Occasional overnight travel will be required – approximately 25%.
