Location: Avera Medical Group Ophthalmology-Marshall Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Work where you matter. A Brief Overview: Accountable for greeting patients either in person or over the telephone. Performs the initial evaluation by obtaining medical history, patient concerns, performs examination tests and prepares equipment for physician as needed. Assists with surgical procedures, administers topical medications or diagnostic drugs prescribed by the physician. What you will do: - Ensures examination rooms are properly stocked, cleaned and that equipment is ready and in working order for daily use. - Rooms and prepares patient, obtaining information: ophthalmic, medical, family and social history and patient concerns. - Performs opening examination tests and prepares equipment for physician following established policies, procedures and guidelines. - Is proficien...
