POSITION SUMMARY: To provide 24/7 leadership and direction to facilitate the delivery of professional, safe, high quality patient care. Facilitate multi-disciplinary healthcare teams. Develop and maintain finances approved for department. Comply with and enforce all departmental policies and procedures, and standards of patient care delivery. This position is also responsible for the coordination of surgical activities to enhance patient placement and flow across the Charlton campus. The 4 Chest patient population includes thoracic surgery, head and neck surgery, otolaryngology, and plastic surgery. Surgical Step Down provides Level II critical care for all surgical case types.
