Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Stockman to join our team. In this role you will lead a stockcamp in managing the day-to-day activities on the station, overseeing livestock health and welfare, and ensuring efficient and effective stock management. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive hands-on experience with livestock, and a deep understanding of cattle management practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise a team, providing guidance and training as needed. - Oversee livestock movement, feeding, breeding programs. - Ensure upkeep of facilities, fencing, water systems, and equipment required for livestock management. - Foster a strong safety culture by adhering to industry regulations, workplace safety standards, and safe work behaviours to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
