Description Provides scientific expertise and leadership for research programs in the areas of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and healthy lifestyle factors (especially nutrition) to prevent cognitive decline and dementia. Designs, conducts and reports on the neuroepidemiological study of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias as well as cognitive decline in aging with particular focus on nutritional and healthy lifestyle factors, collects and analyzes data and develops grant proposals in these areas of research interest. Leads, manages and participates in investigations and surveys that have national and international impact. Conducts independent research and prepares operational and statistical reports. Writes publishable articles and papers. Performs related responsibilities as required.
