Description Job Summary/Objective: This position is a key member of the OrthoHealth patient care team performing clinical and clerical services to support physicians and other healthcare providers in the delivery of high quality care. Operational Duties: - Greets and rooms patients - Takes patient subjective, review medical history, medication list , etc - Takes and records patient vitals and measurements imperative to OH program - Prepares rooms and ensure supplies are ready, ordering more when necessary - Navigates EMR software platforms for appointment/document review/retrieval - Answers phone calls, respond to patient questions, and take messages - Assists with front desk duties as assigned - Educates patients on health conditions, treatment, and medications - Addresses patient questions regarding plan of care - Manages pre-authorizations for prescribed medication as needed - Transmits prescription refills as directed - Starts new patient’s initial note from physician template from patient intake prior to patient appointment - Performing administrative office procedures, including: coordinating appointments and procedures for patients, gathering and managing necessary documents...
