Position Summary The Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM) is responsible for the management of their designated unit/department, includingnursing practice and administrative oversight of the area. In conjunction with the Unit/Department Nursing Operations Manager, theANOM provides guidance and direction on all aspects of unit operations including customer experience, budgetary performance, humanresources activities, shared leadership, and quality outcomes. Responsibilities: - Shared 24/7 accountability with Nursing Operations Manager• Participates in the recruitment and selection of new team members for the unit through interviews, peer selection,and evaluation of candidates.• Coordinates with the Unit/Department Nursing Operations Manager and Human Resources as indicated on correctiveaction, progressive discipline, and career advancement.• Investigates event reports and provides feedback to both Unit/Department Nursing Operations Manager and team members.• Oversight of schedules for the unit to ensure the proper mix of staff are available each shift to provideappropriate patient care.• Maintains oversight of patient flow and intervenes as indicated to achieve expected outcome...
