Classification Title: Post-Doctoral Associate Job Description: The Bai lab is seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow to join our research group. As a postdoctoral fellow, the candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects centered around modeling human diseases in the nematode model Caenorhabditis elegans . Our current research endeavors primarily focus on unraveling the intricacies of disease genes associated with lipid droplet, lipid metabolism, development, germline development, and mechanotransduction. Qualified postdoctoral candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in genetics, cell biology, developmental biology, bioinformatics, or a related field. Proficiency in genetics, live imaging, imaging analysis, molecular biology techniques, and experience in utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing methodologies is highly desirable. Prior experience working with C. elegans will be considered favorably. A strong publication record demonstrating research productivity and showcasing the ability to independently design and conduct experiments is essential.
