POSITION SUMMARY: Provides full administrative support to the Manager of Acute Mental Health R1 and Concurrent Disorders M1. Specific responsibilities include: providing support around magerial responsibilities related to human resources; labour relations; recruitment/hiring/disciplinary/retention processes; payroll completion; complaints management; meeting coordination i.e. scheduling and minute taking; statistics completion; record keeping; supply ordering; and overseeing of regular day-to-day office functions. Provides support to the Educator, Flow Manager and Charge Nurses from R1 and M1. Coordinates agendas, scheduling meetings; taking minutes for numerous standing committee meetings; and other duties as assigned. Excellence in customer service is essential. Must have ability to work independently and also as part of a multi-disciplinary team. QUALIFICATIONS: •Grade 12 diploma plus 2 year post-secondary diploma in office administration or medical office administration •Successful completion of Medical Terminology Certificate required •Two years related experience required •Knowledge of Mental Health Act •Knowledge of various union collective agreements •Intermediate skill lev...
