Mechanical/Electrical Test Support Technician

Job description

The Mechanical and electrical test support technician will be responsible for performing product design validation tests for Home's product devices, including, but not limited to, thermostats, Indoor air quality systems & line voltage products. We are looking for an individual with experience in Mechanical and Electrical product design testing, verification and safety validation for regulatory agencies for global regions. Selected Candidates may work in close communication with Design Engineering, Component Engineering, Value Engineering and Compliance Engineering in Golden Valley. JOB DUTIES: - Performs and coordinates product testing according to engineering test procedures and product specifications. And regulatory standards. - Designs and/or develops test fixtures, test setups, test procedures, work instructions, test schedules, etc. for new products, product redesigns, or product failures, troubleshooting. - Specifies, initiates, and coordinates acquisition of new test equipment as needed. - Independently determines and develops own test schedule and manages diverse workloads from project managers. - Participate in multi-disciplinary teams across many functions, including proc...
