Job Title: Milling Forman Location: Statewide, MS: The Foreman position serves as a key participant in the interaction between the Company (and their assigned crew), other contractors and our customers. The position is responsible for ensuring proper leadership, training and guidance to all crew members at job sites. Also operates equipment and ensures the safety of crew members via communicating and enforcing Company safety programs/policies/practices as well as OSHA and other related regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the control and operation of one or more types of milling equipment. May operate or direct positions responsible for operating milling equipment (Milling Machine and/or Cold Planer) to properly mill asphalt/concrete to desired specification needs per each job. Manipulates hand levers to control movements of milling machine that mills asphalt, concrete, stone or dirt on roadways and related surfaces such as parking lots, streets, highways, etc. Maintains an effective working relationship with Foreman – Clean Up Operations (as applicable) to ensure proper coordination of crews, project reviews, and job planning.
