Job description

Direct and coordinates activities of component production department in processing materials or manufacturing products by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - The following is a list of minimum responsibilities related to the Supervisor of Printing position. Other duties may also be assigned. - Direct responsibility for the management of skilled and unskilled workers over three shifts. Includes hiring, training and discipline. Advises the Site Lead of any issues inhibiting the orderly operation of the Printing Department. - Monitors Time / Attendance and schedules vacations for smooth and orderly plant operation. - Reviews production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products as well as scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations. - Supplies the component needs of all packaging plants as dictated by Schedulers and Site Lead or Manager of Operations. - Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for printing jobs with the assistance of the Scheduler, Site Lead or Manager of Operations.
