The Recovery Center Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of post-surgical orthopaedic patients admitted to the recovery center unit. This position provides nursing care using therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventive methods. **This position is 12+ hours per week and for NIGHT SHIFT ** Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists in (or performs under medical direction) diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including administration of medications, application of drugs, starting intravenous (IV) fluids, application of orthopaedic devices such as continuous passive motion (CPM), and dressing changes. - Observes patient, checks dressings, documents significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to significant incidents. - Is aware of complica...
