Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview: The Plant Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the supervision of electrical projects and support operating departments in the plant. Responsibilities: - Engineer and coordinate capital and non-capital project work using plant personnel and contractors. - Assist production departments and plant electrical engineer as needed for projects, process improvement, and troubleshooting. - Lead contractors for work on power distribution systems, lighting, cable and conduit installations, and related technology improvements to electrical systems. - Work with contractors to rectify deficiencies identified in audits with loss prevention/insurance carriers. Qualifications: Required: ▪(BSEE or BSEET).▪2+ years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment including troubleshooting and project work.▪Ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely completion.▪Ability to work in a group or independently to achieve goals.
