City : Destrehan State : Louisiana (US-LA) Country : United States (US) Requisition Number : 44750 A Day in the Life: The Operator Trainee is responsible for learning and overseeing multiple functions of the soybean processing facility. This role is also responsible for demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture withing the site, continually improve the site’s food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirements. Position Details: 12-hour rotating shifts: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am Pay: $27.10 an hour: Bunge offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays. What You’ll Be Doing: - Review shift logs and plant status throughout the workday - Recognize signs of operational failure and proceed and act accordingly - Operate, control, inspect, and troubleshoot various soybean processing equipment, and document as needed - Make regular process adjustments to maintain operating parameters as needed - Collect, record, and perform necessary process control tests, and document as needed - Collect and process quality product samples - Follow HACCP procedures and guidel...
