Description Liberty Mutual has an immediate opening for an experienced Claims Professional to join our Commercial Casualty Complex Claims Team. The Senior Technical Claims Specialist determines coverage, investigates complex and highly complex Commercial Casualty claims, determines liability, sets and adjusts reserves, evaluates the claim, negotiates a settlement, authorizes and resolves the claim. The selected person will demonstrate a high level of expertise and sound judgment in complex matters and may act as a subject matter expert. This role includes evaluating policies/manages claims for Liberty Mutual and Helmsman customers/accounts. There is a strong preference for the selected candidate to live within 50-mile radius of one of the listed hub offices: Boston, MA; Plano, TX; Suwanee, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Hoffman Estates, IL; Lake Oswego, OR; Las Vegas, NV, Chandler, AZ or Weatogue, CT. This policy is subject to change. We will consider a remote candidate if you do not live within 50-miles of one of these offices.
