Huawei's Kepler Research Center in Jena is responsible for advanced technology research and architectural development of optics-related products. At the Kepler Research Center – Advanced Optics Lab, in Munich and in Jena, we are now looking for a: Expert Researcher - Camera Optical Design (m/f/d) Your mission: Perform research and design work in the field of mobile phone imaging lenses and new optical architectures, solving key challenges through technological innovation, proposing new concepts and ideas and drafting patents; Conduct full design cycle, from concept to product, of advanced imaging optical systems, including fixed focal lens, zoom lens, freeform optics, etc.; Perform extensive analysis of optical designs, including tolerancing, athermalization, straylight, optimization, etc.; Integrate optical development infrastructure at different stages of completion to achieve and grow end-to-end, manufacturing-oriented system-level design, simulation, fabrication and metrology capabilities; Go from the analysis of the applicatio...
