Job description

Job Description: As a provider assistant at HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc. The provider assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures. All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater. Responsibilities: - Interview patients and document basic medical history - Take vital signs and document findings in the patient record - Review annual wellness questionnaire with appropriate patients - Administer immunizations - Monitor messages and relay clinician responses via phone calls - Enter orders for laboratory services Required Qualifications: PLUS current CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant progr...
