The Automotive Service and Parts Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the preventative maintenance and service repair of fleet vehicles as well as overall inventorying, sourcing, ordering and distribution of parts, tires and other supplies to maximize fleet utilization and profitability for the City/District. What You’ll Do: Develops, implements and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization to business and company guidelines, directing and controlling the preventative maintenance and service repair of fleet vehicles as well as source and order parts, control inventory, return obsolete or overstocked parts and replenish inventory of common usage parts/tires.
