Airport Inspector (Paving)

Job description

RK&K is seeking Construction Inspectors experienced in airport construction projects, specifically relating to paving. In this role you will support multiple Field Engineering and Inspection projects throughout Baltimore, MD and the surrounding counties. Construction Inspectors work independently on project sites but work closely with project managers, project engineers, construction managers and other team members in provision of construction services on a variety of projects. Essential Function: - Conduct regular inspections of airport paving projects to verify compliance with approved plans, codes, and safety regulations. - Provide field engineering, construction management and contract support services (submittal review, contract document interpretation, requests for information, correspondence, change requests, and change orders) as needed on site and in the office. - Ensure that construction workmanship and materials adhere to established industry standards and meet project specifications. - Accurately document all construction inspection activities by creating daily reports and maintaining organized, detailed, and up to date field files - Oversee and coordinate material test...
